Founded in 2018, our mission is to allow everyone in Japan to have a smoother medical experience. Starting with foreigners, we focus on creating a patient-first flow to access healthcare. We believe that access to healthcare is something so important that anyone should be able to visit the doctor without facing any hurdles or worries. We offer a service that provides a simple way to search for the right doctor online, and help you further with our Concierge Service and Digital Patient Forms. We strive to improve the quality of your life by keeping you healthy and allow you to continue doing the things you love to do.

With the increasing population of foreigners in Japan, we believe it is imperative to take action in alleviating the pain points foreigners experience with the healthcare system. Through hearing the voices of foreigners from interviews and surveys, the most apparent struggles were pinpointed to: finding doctors, making appointments, and communicating with doctors. A large number of individuals stated feelings of hesitation and tendencies to avoid visiting the doctor in Japan due to language or cultural barriers, and difficulties understanding the Japanese healthcare system.

Starting with search, Ambii envisions to fill in these holes step by step.
